I assembled the cardboard pieces and had it layed out for weeks before I began the assembling process. It was January in the studio & very cold. I decided to pour the wax instead of putting down one layer after another. Between the cold & the depth of wax, I couldn't get the piece to fuse properly. I scraped just about everything off of the panel & started over. In the end and a first for me, the completed piece looks as I originally envisioned it.
